perpetual memories

You're my heart's beat,
You're the air i breathe,
Broken wings of my dreams,
You are all that i desiderated,
Indelibly and perpetually.
Time has passed,
But not the sentiments
of your love,
and your passionate touch,
of the day we made love,
of those taciturn moments in the park,
holding hands..
..walking down the lanes
of romancing over the green...

Now you're gone
leaving me lone
In a cocoon of self imprisonment
With those virginal memories,
Still compleat.
My ruth misses you
day and night.
It starts in the morning
and ends in the night.

Let the heavenly angels
Take care of another one,
Till i breath my last
Till then be my preduring
guiding luminary source
and my illusions' chimera!

a thing named 'true love'

Murphy’s law: “if anything can go wrong, it will go wrong”.

Why does it happen in love? Why is true love so ruthless, vicious and callous? Why life does not have the undo button?

He remembers the regular 100 metres romantic walk when he used to walk after her after getting of his school bus. If both the bus timings didn’t match, he used to wait for her. Walking behind her had an ‘feel good’ and ‘feel something in heart’ effect on his heart, soul and mind. He glanced down at her feet that seemed ringing a romantic tune of ‘payal’ in his ears and eyes too ,in every step she took. His eyes defied human sciences and refused to blink a bit. But somewhere in his heart he feels unsafe as he didn’t want the other guys to feel the same way or other. He is not possessive but protective. He walked behind her as if he was completely fueled by his heart-which he had given completely to her. He walked after his heart and it seemed he didn’t care about crashing into something or a vehicle. He glued his eyes to her dancing hair and unique persona till he entered the classroom after her and settled down at the last bench so that he could have a heart full look at her the whole day long. Life was indeed beautiful. He studied for her. He felt rejuvenated, inspired and exhilarated by a mere glance of her those school days.

He tried his best to get back at her-through friends and all but to no avail - lost her. If only he could tear himself up and show her that every single cell in his body resonated for let alone his heart and make her realize that no one could ever love her even a fraction better than him.

He is sitting in his small house’s porch with past reminiscences about those beautiful romantic walks and glances at her as life walked by leisurely. He just could not digest the fact that she could not wait for some years so that he could make his career and left for an another guy. His only regret is that she lost someone who truly loved her. Everyday he gets up thinking of her sleeping beside him like an angel and then takes some time to realize the hard and bitter truth of destined loneliness.

A gust of fresh wind blew and suddenly he felt alive and in exactly 5 nanoseconds he jumped up from his trance with new hope and positiveness. He imagined a virtual her before him-which for him was real. Her eyes, kissable lips and smile mesmerized him. Her eyes radiated pure love and longing for him. He got closer to her and took her hands in his. An ecstatic feeling ran down his sensory system. His scientific heart started pumping afresh as if new blood is rushing through his veins thus giving birth to a new soul.

They dashed out to the green open meadows and stood there opening their arms wide but connecting themselves through their hearts. It was the same feeling that a drought hit farmer experiences when it starts to rain but much much better than this. The meadow was open but for them there were flowers all around. They got drenched in their new found happiness of unison. Now they are one one, only practically apart. Anybody would have mistaken him for an abnormal flirting with the breeze but he knows what he was doing and the fact that in India, love is a subject in which practicals are not allowed.

He decided to start life afresh with her by his side. He felt inspired and confident of achieving all his goals. His heart beating ‘I love you’ sequentially and it seemed pumping every drop of blood in her name. He decided to add life to his days, not days to his life.

He held her high up in his arms and she spread her arms wide seeking divine blessings for their new life together. The sun has now started to set in but in his life it’s a new dawn and beginning. It began drizzling. They felt happiness soaking into them. Every drop was magical-bringing happiness. They realized that the world is indeed beautiful.

They came back together to his room. He took out his guitar and played to his humming tune of ‘nahi samne tu yeh alaag baat hain…mere pass hain, tu mere pass hain...’

Back before sleeping he kissed her goodnight.

In his thoughts and dreams, she is his forever and remain his driving force to live life fullest.

God bless these characters and us all!!!

Life is beautiful

Went to school,
Hoping a glance at you.
Teachers teaching,
Yet my interest was you.
The day you were absent,
I was in the blue.
In an aesthetic style,
Life was beautiful!

Joined college,
Same one as you.
Same course and room,
Just for another glance at you.
In a bonny style,
Life was beautiful!

Come graduation,
And you left me
For a better placed joe.
Crest fallen was I,
The only time
Life was'nt beautiful!

I look back,
Find you and me.
In an empty classroom,
Different seats.
Occasional Glances
The language of hearts.
Life was beautiful!

Back in reality,
I realize you are happy.
No matter,
How far you are
You are the beating
Of my heart.
My light in the dark,
Our reminiscenes,
I will relish forever.
Beautiful life it was!
And will ever be!

Someone Somewhere

When I close my eyes
Someone somewhere floats
Amidst my thoughts
I wish I could talk to her
But my lips are motionless
Bereft of words...

Her eyes gleaming
Radiating love in its
Purest crystalline form
Making words shy away
Leaving me expressionless

I looked closely at the alluring pair
Unraveling its mystery...
It spoke of desperation
Straight from the bosom
Sings a melancholy song
Pangs of separation
Creeping its way into the heart
Tearing it apart
Defining love as ruthless, vicious and callous

Moments pass by
Situation abated
Impuissant was I
Hated to see her in pain
So I woke up from my trance
Alleviated from the agonizing throes

But the melancholy music remains
Lingering in my heart
Making her incessant
In my spirit...
...Till death do us apart!!
